Trujillo is a city, with a population of 20,780, and a municipality on the northern Caribbean coast of the Honduran department of Colón, of which the city is the capital. The municipality had a population of about 30,000. The city is located on a bluff overlooking the Bay of Trujillo. 

Weather
Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 21 °C to 30 °C and is rarely below 19 °C or above 32 °C. Based on the beach/pool score, the best time of year to visit Trujillo for hot-weather activities is from mid-December to mid-April. Our rainy season is towards the end of October.
